Pasteral Cottage

Description

The cottages are the old animal sheds of L’Avenc that we converted in 2004 into 4 new cottages and retain the enchantment of the original site. They are made of local stone with years of history, small windows, real oak ceilings and beams and antique tiled floors, just as the old farmhouses used to be. 

This is a 2-bedroomed cottage. One double room and an open sleeping space with twin beds.

You will find

  • Two bedrooms, one  with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Wooden floorboards.   
  • The beds are made up with clean towels and a bathrobe on the bed for each adult.  
  • Shower: All the cottages have a shower, except for Susqueda that has a bath. There is a refillable dispenser of organic body and hair gel at your disposal.  
  • The living area has a TV, a wood-burning stove and a sofa. The first load of logs are ready for your use free-of-charge. More can be bought.  
  • The dining area: a fully equipped little kitchen with gas hobs, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee pot, toaster, table and chairs. We leave rubbish bags, kitchen paper, washing up liquid, clothes and dishwasher tablets at your disposal. Please bring cooking oil. There is also salt, pepper and sugar. 
  • Under the stairs: cleaning unit with a mop, broom, clothes horse and dustpan at your disposal. 
  • Just outside: a patio table and chairs in an area shared with the other cottages and access to the rest of the gardens.

Specifications

  • Weekends (minimum two-night stay). 
  • The use of the pool is included. 
  • This is the only type of accommodation where you can bring up to 2 pets but only with prior notice and acceptance. The guests are responsible for their pets and must respect other guests at all times keeping their pets in order, looked after,  and quiet. We have dogs and cats at l’Avenc.

Points of interest

When can we arrive and when must we leave?

  • Check-in is from 15:30 to 19:30. If you are arriving after this time please let us know.
  • Check-out is before 12.00 midday. Late check-out (17.00 departure) is an option but not always available. It costs 20€. Please check with reception and we will confirm if it is possible.

Is there soap and shampoo in the rooms?

  • Yes. All the rooms have organic hand gel and  shower gel for hair and body in dispensers. Take a look at the website to check for the full list of what is available in each type of room. 

Is there WiFi in the rooms?

  • Yes. There is limited WiFi in all the rooms now. Check the password.
